Professional appointment-only firearm transfer consultation at Cedar Wolf Group's licensed Spring Branch premises

Appointment-only firearm transfers in the San Antonio area

Cedar Wolf Group provides lawful incoming transfers at its licensed Spring Branch premises and licensed sourcing support for eligible government customers.

Transfers are by appointment only. Do not visit the premises or schedule pickup until Cedar Wolf sends a Ready for Pickup notice. A carrier delivery notification does not mean a firearm is ready for pickup.

How an Incoming Transfer Works

1. Submit a Request

Contact Cedar Wolf before shipment. Provide your name, contact information, seller type, seller contact, order reference, expected firearm count, and tracking number if available.

2. Wait for Approval to Ship

Cedar Wolf reviews the request and sender information. Private individuals must receive written authorization and provide the requested documentation before shipping.

3. Cedar Wolf Receives the Shipment

We inspect the firearm, reconcile the shipment information, complete required acquisition records, and secure it at the licensed premises.

4. Receive the Ready Notice

Only after receiving Cedar Wolf’s Ready for Pickup notice may you schedule an appointment. The Ready notice will include current instructions and what to bring.

5. Complete the Appointment

The actual transferee must appear in person with acceptable current government-issued identification. Form 4473 and the applicable background-check or qualifying Texas LTC process must be completed.

6. Lawful Release

Cedar Wolf releases the firearm only after all identification, documentation, payment, recordkeeping, and legal requirements are satisfied.

What to Bring

Customer Policies

Appointments and pickup

Pickup is available only at Cedar Wolf’s licensed Spring Branch premises and only by appointment after a Ready notice. Cedar Wolf may change or cancel an appointment to protect safety, compliance, or operational needs.

Actual transferee and identification

The person completing Form 4473 must appear in person and must be the lawful actual transferee. Cedar Wolf will not release a firearm to a substitute person.

Background checks and Texas LTC

Cedar Wolf requires a documented lawful transfer basis. Under the startup policy, a delayed NICS transaction remains on hold until a final Proceed. A qualifying Texas LTC may be accepted as the NICS alternative only when current law and ATF guidance permit it; Cedar Wolf may require NICS whenever eligibility is unclear.

Private senders

A private individual must receive written Cedar Wolf authorization before shipping and must provide requested identity, address, firearm, and shipment information while complying with all applicable law and carrier requirements.

Returns, storage, and unclaimed firearms

If a firearm cannot be lawfully transferred, Cedar Wolf will secure it while determining the lawful next step. Returns are not automatic and may require additional records or transfer steps. Storage and return charges may apply. Unclaimed firearms are handled under the written notice and lawful-disposition policy in effect at the time.

Right to decline

Cedar Wolf may decline or stop a transaction that is outside company scope, lacks required documentation, creates a safety concern, appears unlawful, or cannot be completed confidently under current requirements.

Current Service Scope

The initial transfer service covers approved ordinary, non-NFA firearms. Cedar Wolf is not accepting NFA firearms, destructive devices, gunsmithing, pawn transactions, consignments, manufacturing work, or delivery away from the licensed premises through this program.

Government Sales and Sourcing

Cedar Wolf Group also supports eligible government customers with licensed sourcing and procurement coordination. Government agencies and prime contractors should contact us with the requirement, delivery location, schedule, and applicable contracting information. All sales remain subject to licensing, procurement, export-control, and other legal requirements.
